Adrenalin FC 4 FULL STORY

David Jenkinson made his debut and came out on fire with submission attempt one after another as he was trying to finish Dean Campbell.

It was clear it would only be a matter of time before the Mohawk fighter would catch Campbell with a submission and that submission came with a rear strangle in round 1!

Jenkinson looked good but will be dropping down to Light Heavyweight

in February where

his body type is more suited and rather than be a small heavyweight he will be a bigger LHW.

Tye Palmer and Chad Brown were very evenly matched and this fight was a war of nutrition and there was a lot of grappling for superior positioning in which  Palmer was just edging the win but Brown was a very tough opponent and showed some good knowledge and with his muscular frame when he threw punches he seemed to have a lot of power and Palmer did not want any of that power coming his way.

There were some great exchanges between these young fighters

and both have a really great future in the sport.

Dayman Lake showed another side to his game as he stood and practically boxed the large Greek fighter Georgtistonis!

In all fairness to the Greek warrior e threw some really great leg kicks to the lead leg of Lake which saw him stand in a slightly different stance, but Lakes hand skills and primarily his jab was causing issues for Georgtistonis and apart from the successful leg kicks he really could not find a answer for Lake!

Lake picked off the Greek fighter and finished with a barrage of punches which dropped his opponent and he continued the onslaught until the referee stepped in to save any further damage to the game but broken Georgtistonis

Mehmet Faulds fought Steve Hart and this was a great fight which  saw Hart getting a little frustrated with Faulds as he was always defending and it seemed like he was doing a great job in not getting submitted but could not really oppose his will

There was a few moments when Hart tried a strike combination and also  spinning back fist but none of these fazed faulds and in round 2 hart was forced to tap out to the better man on the night

Russel took on the new addition to Adrenalin FC called Hewitt and this fight was very technical with both guys unleashing there grappling skills and at the beginning it seemed like Russel was winning.

as the battle continued Hewett slowly advanced in positions until he finalised the fight with a rear naked strangle

Some were saying he was a mini Vemola and Trotman did show that same demeanour and was very aggressive in his fight which was simply one way traffic!

Entering the cage Trottman put his face right into his opponents and the crowed knew straightaway he meant business!

As the bell sounded Trotman hit a superman punch and then proceeded to manhandle his  prey and pound him into submission

Coming into the fight Hayat was a little overwhelmed with the whole experience but was still game as he stepped into the cage against the more experienced Brazilian fighter

Hayat made the mistake of getting into a grappling game and the Brazilian had the edge in this area of the game.

Hayat showed he was not to be easily dominated but he was out matched in this bout in the grappling and was caught with a rear strangle

Jeremy Petley is a regular  face on the Adrenalin FC and the fans love to watch this guy as he always comes to fight and he is always in a battle too!

Nicolas Bertolo is one hell of a tough guy and has a high work ethic too and you could see this fight was to be a real war as both fighters entered the cage!

From the start Bertolo wanted to stand and strike but Petley was having none of this as he worked hard to close the distance between him and the Frenchman

This fight was energy sapping and it was a game of Petley trying to get Bertolo down and Bertolo trying to keep the fight up standing

All of a sudden Petley made a slight mistake and Bertolo caught Petley with a Guillotine causing the Canadian fighter to tap

Benn Gabb and Jorden Fraysse are 2 young fighter that made their debut and both proved they had the skills to fight on  Adrenalin FC as the fought hard to get a win

Early on in the fight Gabb went for the takedown and was caught in a Guillotine choke and was caught tight!

Eventually to the amazement of the crowd Gabb evaded the choke and the proceeded to take the back of Fraysse and after a struggle managed to sink in the choke which finished Fraysse

Ricky Campbell was set to fight for the Middleweight title and from the outset he closed the distance and took his opponent down and worked towards a submission whilst all the time striking and this fight was clearly one way traffic as Campbell looked comfortable chipping away at his overwhelmed opponent.

with about 20 seconds left in round 1 Campbell swung around for the arm lock securing it in no time at all and was the new Middleweight Champion.

Steve Cooke took on the much taller fighter Eric Renoir and  was having a great fight but just could not deal with the legs and arms of Renoir as he has picked up high in the air and slammed hard on the cage floor.

Cooke it one stubborn fighter and even though he was caught in a arm lock he managed to hold off until Renoir adjusted slightly and hyper-extended Cooke's arm nearly breaking it in the process

Both fighters showed heart and will be back in the new year

Diego Vital is the Lightweight Champion and again he showed us all why as he took on the shooto veteran Sergi Boutari

Vital looked quite sharp on his striking and it was clear he had been working on this since his last bout and he seemed to be out striking Boutari surprising many fans in the crowd, it was not long until Boutari made a wrong move and the slippery Vital slid straight onto the back of Boutari like a rucksack and then quickly choked his opponent out to retain his Lightweight Title.

Vital knows the fights are getting tougher for him but he still seems to excel every bout and Lee Jonstone thinks he will be a hard champion to beat !
